How to Apply for a Non-Teaching Position in DPS
If you are interested in joining a district committed to its students and driving change at a systemic level, please follow the below steps on how to apply:
- Complete an e-application. Allow 20-30 minutes to complete the e-application.
- Browse and apply for open non-teaching position(s) on the Job Board. For teaching positions, go to Current Teaching Jobs to apply.
- Submit your application for each specific posting in order to be considered for that respective position. Due to the high volume of applicants, DPS is unable to provide status of your application.
If you are selected to interview, you may be asked to provide the documents below.
- List of three (3) professional references
- Official transcripts of all college/university work completed with degree posted (if required)
Applying for a Bilingual (ELA-S) Paraprofessional position? Upon recommendation for hire, you are required to successfully pass:
- The bilingual paraprofessional test.
- WorkKeys Test or demonstrate proof of completion through college transcripts of at least 48 semester hours of accredited college credit or an AA degree or higher. You may schedule the WorkKeys Test through the Community College of Denver by calling (303) 556-3810.
Applying for a Paraprofessional position? Upon recommendation for hire, you are required to pass:
- WorkKeys Test or demonstrate proof of completion through college transcripts of at least 48 semester hours of accredited college credit or an AA degree or higher. You may schedule the WorkKeys Test through the Community College of Denver by calling (303) 556-3810.
